I am almost embarrassed to show this before and after because the Straight Out of Camera Image just wasn’t where it should have been and I do believe you should get it right in camera-and most of my in camera shots were pretty darn close-with the exception of this one.  They say you shouldn’t buy new gear until you are limited by what you have.  I think I’ve reached that point, though I’m sure that’s not what my husband wants to hear!  Anyway, here is the before and after.  I don’t normally do this much photoshopping, but it WAS a zombie shoot so I think it called for something a little more drastic.

These are all actually the same size, though it’s hard to tell from my pictures.

Mason jars can be purchased at Rural King year-round or individually at Hobby Lobby-which is where I got these this weekend for 50% off.  I already had all the ribbon you see in the photos so I just purchased the flowers and the beading from the scrapbook aisle in Hobby Lobby.  The soap and pump came from a local grocery store.  I picked a tall bottle of Ivory soap to make sure the pumps were long enough (and I did end up having to cut them) and then just poured the soap from the original bottle into the jar.   Since I had my dear hubby do the hole drilling for the soap pump, these were super simple…  The monogramming is just letters printed on a transparency through my printer.  I can’t find the original tutorial to link to, but I found it on pinterest.  The original author said it needed to be a laser jet printer so the ink didn’t dissolve.  I just coated my transparency with a clear spray sealer before placing it inside the jar.  Think I will check them before Christmas just to make sure the ink is still on the transparency though.
